What does your morning routine look like?
I welcome the new day with a high frequency.
I am convinced that with a positive start to the day, we can decide to tune into the frequency that we want to be on for the day - as well as send out what we want to attract.
The law of attraction has taught me that we get back what we put out.
That's why it's important for me to start my morning with good routines.
I am an A person and love early mornings. I open the window and practice gratitude.
I have been practicing the Five Tibetans for many years. That way I get down into my body and out of my head.
I check in. My most important morning meeting is with myself.
Through these simple rites and or yoga exercises, we allow the energy to flow freely.
That awareness is good. Everything is energy.
I'm also a big fan of swimming in the sea - all year round - and/or a run in nature. My happy rush. Brings dopamine into my body, which I benefit from all day long.
Meditation and movement should be natural and easy.
We need to be conscious. Find out what makes us happy so that it can become sustainable habits.
How do you best spend an hour in your own company?
I prefer to spend an hour in my own company in nature.
Either movement or sea bathing. All year round. It's pure balm. For body and mind. Nature's primitive luxury.
It gives us so much and doesn't expect much in return. We must take care of it - and cherish it.
There are so many health benefits to be found in spending time in nature.
What is your best advice for showing self-love and prioritizing yourself in a busy everyday life?
We must feed ourselves before we can feed others.
For me, self-love is being my authentic self. Creating balance through greater self-awareness, which can be as simple as getting up 10 minutes earlier every morning and making it a habit to check in.
Everything in life is about priorities.
Our own inner happiness is our fuel,
why it is important to prioritize in my opinion.
The most sustainable investment is the one we make in ourselves.
Then we stand strong, even when it's very windy.
Have you made a decision in your life that has been particularly good for you?
To be honest and authentic towards myself - and thus my surroundings.
To stand strong.
What I contain and thus what I want to attract. I focus on being aware of the present. A spiritual act that is simple and extremely complex at the same time. Making a choice to enjoy the process. And not just focus on the goal.
The journey of life is magnificent and beautiful.
We create our own reality. It is a good awareness that breeds great freedom and flow.
Every day I make a choice to focus on what I want to flourish.
If you could give your younger self one piece of advice on how to create a balanced life, what would it be?
You are perfect exactly as you are and vulnerability is a strength.
Your best tip for a strong and healthy body and a balanced mind?
Balance is a complex quantity, which is why it is a complex question to answer.
We must first love ourselves. Then we can love others. Love has the highest frequency. If we contain love, that is what we send out.
A good tip is to become aware of whether your thoughts are downward or upward. Your thoughts create your feelings which determine your actions and our subconscious hears everything. So focus on what you want instead of what you don't want.
Take responsibility, choose your focus – it's your life.
You seem like a positive, fun-loving and reflective person. Are there any values you have always had that you prioritize in your daily life?
I have always been a cheerful and sensitive person. However, I am convinced that joy and happiness are largely a choice. We can and should train our mental muscle, just as we train our physical body.
Then we can stand strong – even when life hurts.
Having a positive mind is about daily priorities. I look at life's challenges as an opportunity to learn more about myself and life. Instead of looking at it as a problem.
I believe that everything is energy. Everything is connected which is why we need to use the cards we are dealt constructively. There is so much wisdom to be found.
I will live my life with ease, joy, love and authenticity.
We are our own biggest critic. But that has to be one of life's greatest freedoms. When you come to the realization that you can do whatever you want. You create your own reality and can never put the responsibility on someone else. You are the only one who can be there for you. Everything else is a bonus.
So why not choose a positive mind. Choose life. You are the only one who can dance your dance.
Do you have an easy beauty tip that we can share with others?
Health is my beauty ideal. My easiest, most sustainable and budget-friendly beauty tip is something as clichéd as:
"Smile to the world and it will smile back"
As with everything else in life, beauty, in my opinion, comes from the inside out.
We just shine a little brighter when we smile at the world. It has never suited anyone to make themselves a victim of anything or anyone. You can reap so much good through a positive radiance.
Tip: Decide to welcome the day with a smile and or a positive affirmation in the mirror.
It sounds banal. But it works.
