DIY: Simple & beautiful clay ornaments

Give your Advent and Christmas gifts a personal touch, or decorate your Christmas tree, larch branches and holiday table with simple, quick and cosy homemade decorations. A perfect little cosy project for a dark evening – alone or together with the ones you love.

What you need

Self-drying clay (available for example from Søstrene Grene or Panduro Hobby).
White is used here, but is available in several colors.

- Rolling pin

- Cake molds/cutters

- Stamps, flowers or other things to make patterns with

- Ribbon for hanging

- Darning needle/knitting needle to make a hole for hanging

How to

1. Roll clay evenly to about 1 mm thickness

2. Press your chosen shape into the clay

3. Make your pattern and hole for hanging

4. Let dry for 48 hours or until fully dry

Add ribbons and decorate gifts and branches with your homemade ornaments – they also make the sweetest little place cards on the Christmas table.
