CARE BY ME is founded on the desire to change the way we as humans act - to help you as a consumer make more sustainable choices. First and foremost, because we want to run a responsible business with respect and care for the people who produce the goods we sell. They should have a decent life and work under decent conditions, and they will only get that if we as consumers change our behavior. This is largely done by paying the price that a product should actually cost, and seeing it as an investment in a piece of beautiful and timeless Danish design that you value, take care of and save for many years to come.
Before a product ends up in our hands, there are many steps it has to go through.
The raw material must be produced and processed, made into yarn, dyed, knitted, woven, washed, steamed, labeled, packaged, shipped, received, stored, shipped from storage - to eventually become a product you can buy.
We want ALL people throughout all processes to be treated properly and have a good and safe life with the opportunity to choose freely.
We believe that in our part of the world, we have enough resources to treat other people properly. We believe that the new luxury is full of love for people and our shared beautiful planet.
At CARE BY ME we make long-lasting Danish design that can last season after season. If you get tired of a product, we hope you pass it on by either selling it used or simply giving it away. We also get very happy when we see our customers make beautiful repairs or create new products from their old CARE BY ME favorites - a sustainable trend we love.
Over the last 10 years, more and more people have become more aware of their consumption, just as more and more brands have also begun to incorporate sustainability into their business strategy.
At CARE BY ME, sustainability is not an add-on – or something we spice up our brand with – it is what we are built on.
We think it's fantastic that more and more people share our values, thereby actively distancing themselves from mass consumption, and consciously choosing products and brands that incorporate sustainability into their products.
So no, we do not have Black Friday at CARE BY ME.
